“Camping Aque Dolce” in Levanto
It is a camping ground very close to the ancient center of Levanto (in the very east, where the path to Monterosso starts) and it is very close to the beach. IT is not cheap, but it is very nice, situated on a steep hill, under olive trees. You can park your car inside (extra fee) if it is not overcrowded in summer. In spring or autumn if there is rain every day – it can become very uncomfortable.
Elizabeth and I stay at a little pension in Levanto called “hotel Garden” at the Corso Italia. What a fabulous little place right next to the beach (5 yards to be exact) I kid you not.
Cost around 56 Euros per night for double room with bed and breakfast. We love Levanto more than anywhere we’ve been, it holds a special “feel” as does the whole region.
