Cinque Terre – Best Value For Our Money in Europe | Reader Feedback
I visited both Cinque Terre and Gimmelwald in May / June of 2000. They were both absolutely magical – especially Cinque Terre. We stayed 3 nights in Corniglia, which we found to be the most reasonably priced accommodation and value for money we got throughout our 5 week journey through Europe. The people were lovely and I look back on the whole experience with longing.
We were lucky to come across Cinque Terre by accident, as it is not well known here in Australia, but since then have bumped into many other travelers who discovered it by chance and am yet to come across anyone who didn’t love the region. I can’t wait to revisit it and just hope it is not discovered by too many millions of tourists before then.
