I just got back last week from my Cinque Terre experience. I can’t recommend the new hostel in Manarola enough. The people are so friendly, the salad for dinner was huge and excellent, the prices were cheap, and it was clean! My only warning is to avoid doing the trail between Corniglia and Vernazza when it is raining – I nearly broke my leg on a bad fall and I am sporting an enormous bruise on my thigh as a souvenir.
