Cinque Terre Paintings & Art Trip | Reader Feedback

Six of us visited the Cinque Terre in Sept. and Oct. ’01. We stayed at La Torretta B & B in Manarola for 10 days. The purpose of our visit was to do paintings of the scenery. We found it to be spectacular and dramatic. It is true that the terrain is very steep and could be difficult for those with health problems. The colors and design of the buildings and landscape of this area is without comparison, very beautiful and inspiring. La Torretta was a fine place to stay, small and friendly and perched high in the village, overlooking the Mediterranean. It is easy to visit all 5 villages by train or boat if you choose not to hike.
