Back in Cinque Terre, Spring 2004
My last trip to Cinque Terre was long overdue. I went in the spring of 2004, with two friends.
We stayed in Corniglia for the first time, in an apartment belonging to Fabrizia Guelphi. It had the best view I have ever had in Cinque Terre, our balcony looked right out on to the Mediterranean. We hiked a lot, lay by the sea and I took lots of pictures that I have added to this web site.
The trails are in good condition, with new foot bridges and railings. Making a national park of the cinque Terre has paid off. There are also nice new park offices with local information and gift shops. But still unobtrusively and tastefully done, in the style of Cinque Terre.
