I found your web site a few days before leaving for Rome. Walked Cinque Terre on March 18, 2005. Awesome experience. Surprisingly a lot of teenagers on spring break\/class trips. Not well supervised. Fortunately most of them gave up after Riomaggiore trail. The trail between Corniglia and Manarola was partially closed due to landslides. Hiked halfway and then turned around and went back to Manarola and caught the train to Corniglia and then hiked to Vernazza. I started by taking the train from Portofino to Riomaggiore. Hiked to Monterrosso and then caught the train back. The weather was perfect.
