We went to visit my daughter who was studying in Florence and did a day trip to Forte di Marme on the advice of our hotel in Florence. We didn&#8217;t like it, so we took the train to the CT. Que Bella!<\/p>\n<p>We stayed in Monterosso. Loved it. Ciuk&#8217;s Ristorante was fabulously picturesque and the food and wine were great. Thought Vernazza was breathtakingly picturesque as well from the trail; but, aside from the quay, not all that great. Porto Venere was wonderful and worth another trip.
