Access by car is easier than I thought it would be. We parked in the Riomaggiore ramp. Accommodations for my wife, son and I were much better than I expected &#8211;the &#8220;harbor&#8221; was right out side our window (30 feet or 10 meters), big rooms and a new bathroom&#8211;and inexpensive. <\/p>\n<p>Hiking was not difficult. Scenery superb. Only a few places tested my fear of heights.
