We recently visited Cinque Terre and stayed at Hotel Punta Mesca in Monterosso. It was absolutely great. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the mornings, free of charge, and take credit cards. The rooms are brand new and have TV’s in them as well. Hotel Punta Mesca is also VERY close to the beach and the train station, and also has a small grocery store.
