Snorkelling in Cinque Terre, A Favorite Pastime | Reader Feedback
Since I returned from Europe in June I have been raving to everyone about Cinque Terre. In a month of backpacking through France, Italy, and Spain, I discovered your website and am thrilled I can still visit the Cinque Terre. I spent a week there last summer and fell in love with it! I dream of the Cinque Terre almost daily. My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and stayed in the “La Spiaggia”. Which is right on the beach in Monterosso. I highly recommend this hotel and the owner Andrea is a outstanding host. He is always there to make your meals memorable. He speaks about 5 languages! The food is incredible and worth eating there, which is included in the price of your room. Yes hiking the five villages is awesome, but no one on this commented on the snorkelling! Which is a favorite pastime here. There is much to see along the coast line. So I suggest you bring some snorkel equipment. The water is warm and crystal clear.
I only hope I will return to the Cinque Terre someday and relive it all!
