Enjoyed Eating In More Than Eating Out | Cinque Terre Feedback
My family just returned from 2 weeks in Italy, one in Mennagio on Lake Como and the 2nd in Riomaggiore – what a fantastic trip! The children (ages 3, 7 & 9) had a great time and were welcomed everywhere we went. We stayed in an apartment rented through www.vacationvillas.net and had great luck – overlooking the scenic harbor, steps away from daily swims in the beautiful water.
Food was uniformly wonderful, although we enjoyed eating in more than eating out – pesto bought in the shops was yummy and the produce was fantastic! Getting around was easy with our good Spanish and basic Italian. We would recommend this trip to anyone and we liked Riomaggiore and Vernazza best, followed by Manarola- Monterosso and way too crowded and touristy for us. Go and take the kids!
